Statistical Editor

The primary responsibility of Statistical Editors is to ensure that manuscripts meet stringent statistical standards, thereby enhancing the reproducibility, rigor, interpretability, and transparency of the scientific data presented. The initial appointment is for a period of two years, which includes the following duties:

  • Reviewing and assessing manuscripts to verify the accuracy of the statistical methodologies employed, as well as the rigor and clarity in data presentation.
  • Offering guidance and recommendations for the journal's statistical guidelines.
  • Upholding and advocating for the principles of research ethics and academic integrity within the journal.
  • Participating in Board Meetings to contribute to strategies for the journal's development.

Statistical Editors may be assigned to one or two journals, depending on their availability, and will be members of the Editorial Board for their respective journals.
