Author Appeals
Authors have the option to contest a manuscript rejection by forwarding an email to the journal's Editorial Office. Such an appeal must include a thorough rationale, featuring detailed replies to the feedback given by reviewers and/or the Editor, using a designated appeal form. Appeals are permissible only after receiving a "reject and decline resubmission" verdict and must be lodged within three months from the date of that decision. Inability to adhere to these stipulations will lead to the non-consideration of the appeal. Upon receipt, the Managing Editor will relay the appeal, alongside pertinent details and reviewer identities, to an assigned member of the Editorial Board. The consulting academic editor will then assess the appeal, offering a recommendation which could either endorse the manuscript for acceptance, suggest additional peer review, or confirm the initial rejection. This recommendation is subject to the Editor-in-Chief's approval. At this juncture, any decision to reject the manuscript is conclusive and irrevocable.
