Publication Ethics
'CrossLink Studies' aligns with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and adheres to its Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing, making it a committed member. The organization ensures that its journals abide by COPE's guidelines for addressing instances of questionable ethical conduct among authors, reviewers, or editors, with its editorial team being proficiently trained to recognize and tackle ethical dilemmas.
For information on ethical guidelines relevant to paper submissions, authors can consult the journal's submission instructions. Our policies on Updating Published Papers also provide valuable guidance.
Should ethical concerns be raised by the journal's readers, the editorial team will engage in an investigation as per COPE's recommended practices. The Editorial Board is tasked with resolving disputes related to the authenticity of research within published works. In cases involving authorship disputes, data ownership, or misconduct, external authoritative bodies, like university ethics committees, may be consulted for resolution. Authors are required to address and rectify any verified accusations made against them.
In handling disagreements over authorship, 'CrossLink Studies' employs COPE's guidelines, notably on identifying issues with authorship. An update to authorship can be facilitated through a Correction, provided there is unanimous agreement among the authors. In the absence of consensus, a decisive statement from the associated institutions defining rightful authorship is needed.
